Die Fotoserie SUBMERGED PORTRAITS (dt. verschüttete Portraits) ist ein Teil des Drowning World-Projekts von Gideon Mendel, mit dem er individuelle Auswirkungen des Klimawandels in einem globalen Zusammenhang erforscht. Porträtiert werden Menschen aus verschiedenen Überschwemmungsgebieten der Welt in ihrem zerstörten Zuhause.
